Becoming Involved

LOCAL GOVERNMENT NEEDS YOU!

Yes every election is tough, the consequences serious, and the challenges before daunting. But there is too much at stake to give up and not get back up to fight for what's right.  If you care about our community, about our children's education, then we need you to become involved. This will be an opportunity to have Democratic values represented at the local level, by becoming a candidate!  

There are county positions, township positions, school board positions and others that are now and will become available.  So there are opportunities for you to become involved.  

To begin let us know of your interest in pursing an elected position.  The process is simple and the matter of taking a few simple steps.

• Step 1:  Consider the opportunities and decide upon your personal level of commitment.
• Step 2:  Write or call Joe Campisano, Chair Concord-Bethel Democratic Committee, and discuss your interest with him.
• Step 3: Allow Joe to help guide you in the decision process about what open or opening positions you may be interested in and suited for.
• Step 4:  Along with Joe, develop a plan to attain your goal.
